Biography

Milena Julia Piszczorowicz began her piano studies at the age of six at the Henryk Melcer Primary and Secondary State Music School in Kalisz. In the years 1994 - 1998 she continued to learn at Poznan School of Talents where she worked under the direction of prof. Waldemar Andrzejewski. She graduated with distinction from the I. J. Paderewski Music Academy in Poznan (Poland) in the piano class under prof. Jan Janski. At the same time under Stephan Imorde she earned the diploma Master's degree of the Academy Music and Theatre in Rostock (Germany). Two years later she ended post-graduate studies - accompanying singers in the class of prof. Karola Theill in Academy Music and Theatre Rostock. More

Concert on 10 pianos and orchestra

Multi.Art Association and Kalisz Philharmony are preparing a project with participation of young pianists with worldwide reputation. The program contains compositions for 10 pianos and orchestra of young, Polish composers and jazz standards arranged for 10 pianos and big band.

Pianists: Michal Bialk (Austria), Maria Daroch (Poland), Lilit Grigoryan (Armenia), Witold Janiak (Poland), Michal Karasiewicz (Poland), Yuko Mine (Japan), Mayuko Miyata (Japan), Milena Piszczorowicz - Antoniewicz (Poland), Daniel Wnukowski (Canada), Piotr Zukowski (Poland);

Symphonic Orchestra of Kalisz Philharmonic,
Big Band of Ostrow District,
Adam Klocek - conductor.

Program:

  • debut compositions for 10 pianos and orchestra of composers: Wojciech Blazejczyk, Michal Dobrzynski, Andrzej Kopec, Bartosz Kowalski, Tomasz Opalka, Pawel Przezwanski, Dariusz Przybylski;
  • jazz standards for 10 pianos and big band arranged by Pawel Przezwanski.

The project is a part of jubilee celebrations of 1850 years of the city of Kalisz.
