Milena Julia Piszczorowicz
The chamber music pianist.
A worker of I.J. Paderewski Music Academy in Poznan and Henryk Melcer Primary and Secondary State Music School in Kalisz.

EDUCATION
She began to play the piano at the age of 7 in Henryk Melcer Primary and Secondary State Music School in Kalisz. In the years 1994 - 1998 she continued to learn at Poznan School of Talents where she worked under the direction of prof. Waldemar Andrzejewski.
In 2004 she graduated with distinction from the I. J. Paderewski Music Academy in Poznan in the piano class under prof. Jan Janski.
At the same time in 2004 under the direction of prof. Stephan Imorde she got a degree in solo piano (Künstlerische Ausbildung) in Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock.
In 2006 she ended post - graduate studies - accompanying singers (Aufbaustudium Liedbegleitung) in the class of prof. Karola Theill in Academy Music and Theatre Rostock.
MUSIC COURSES
Milena has been developing her piano playing skills by participating in master courses led by, among others, professors Andrzej Jasinski, Milosz Magin, Paul Badura - Skoda (Switzerland 1999), Lazar Berman (Holland 2001), Rudolf Buchbinder (Switzerland 2004, scholarship Stiftung für Internationale Meisterkurse für Musik Zurich) and accompanying singers in the class of prof. Peter Schreier (Germany 2004) and Christa Ludwig (Austria 2005), Klaus Häger (Poland 2008), Helena Lazarska (Poland 2009), Karola Theill (Germany 2009).
PROJECTS
'Forbidden Music'
In the year 2000 in Prague she was invited by prof. Radoslav Kvapil to participate for the first time in a project concerning musicians and composers from Terezin. It was there that she came into cooperation with Volker Ahmels (Germany) and David Sella (Israel). Since then she has been participating regularly in projects called 'Forbidden Music' ("Verfemte Musik" - Jeunesse Musicales, Deutschland) and 'History, Music & Remembrance' - Beit Theresienstadt, Israel.
'Let's play together - Spielen wir zusammen'
Together with Anke Zimmermann she organised a series of concerts of young Polish and German artists called 'Let's play together - Spielen wir zusammen'. This series was included in the Polish-German Year 2005 / 2006, a cultural programme of Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Multi Art Festival - Art Festival of Young People
In 2007 she initiated Multi Art Festival - Art Festival of Young People of Kalisz.
After the Multi Art Festival 2007 and the Multi Art Festival 2008 the organisers founded Multi.Art Foundation, of which she is a director. The Foundation gathers both young artists, as well as organisers of artistic activities from various fields.
In the year 2009 the third edition of Multi Art Festival - Art Festival of Young People, Kalisz 2009 took place.
PRIZES
Winner of the I prize for a project 'Goodnight - Gute Nachtgeschichten?' during the I International Interdisciplinary Contest in Rostock, of the II prize together with Katrin Burghardt (soprano) during the II International Contest 'Verfemte Musik' in Schwerin in 2006. She is also a winner of prizes by the Mayor of Kalisz for achievements in spreading music and promotion of one of the oldest Polish cities in 2000, 2002, 2006, 2008, 2009; she was nominated for a prize Eurotalent'2003 of Polish TV.
She received a scholarship from the GFPS (Science-Culture Foundation in Middle Europe), Rotary Deutschland, Inner Wheel Club Berlin-Tiergarten, marshal of the Wielkopolska Voivodship (Great Poland), Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now. Moreover, in the years 2004 - 2006 she received a scholarship by a minister of culture of Mecklenburg - Western Pomerania to start post - graduate studies in Germany.
